Our History

The ARO Foundation has till date continued to positively impact lives across regions in the country in which it has operated. The program was founded with goals to keep children off the streets and in educational environment, provide women, especially those marginalised with equal opportunities, reduce conflicts significantly and reach out to people in need of food, medical aid and/or material things and that has remained the objectives.

Established in June 2017, ARO foundation has successfully put over 200 IDP children through the Emergency Education Program, in the first quarter of its establishment, thus providing the children with chances for a bright future. This organisation has also grown to become a leader in providing aid to the less privileged in Nigeria, pioneering various types of self-help development programs with our Female Entrepreneur Program and noted for our close partnerships with the people and leaders of communities.

In a bid to ensure we effectively, adequately and timely carry out our objectives, we constantly search for new operative measures to solve ever-persistent challenges plaguing humanity, while sharing our knowledge and expertise with the world.

Today, ARO Foundation is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty, educational challenges, conflict and inequality. As part of our programs we place special focus on working alongside women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. What began as one man’s drive to help people everywhere to become better quickly evolved into a foundation committed to helping people realize their full potential and setting a global status quo of peace. We are guided by principles put in place to help us reach more people that stand to benefit from our programs. Our goal is to find solutions for people with the most urgent needs, wherever they live.
